BIO

Dimitri Tikovoï is a Paris-born, classically trained, Grammy-nominated producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose versatile work has shaped some of modern music’s most celebrated albums.

After relocating to London, Dimitri quickly made his mark in the UK music scene by collaborating with Rob Ellis on Placebo tracks—leading to programming, remixing, and ultimately producing their album Meds, which sold over a million copies worldwide. He also spearheaded his own electronic-rock project, Trash Palace, releasing the album Positions (2002) featuring notable guests including Brian Molko, John Cale, Marc Almond, and Asia Argento.

Over the years, Dimitri has produced and written for a diverse array of artists across genres—from indie and punk to pop, dance, and hip‑hop. Notable credits include The Libertines (All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade, UK #1), Charli XCX, The Horrors, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Blondie, Ghost (Grammy nomination), Purple Disco Machine, Becky Hill, Mikky Ekko, Marianne Faithfull, TWICE, Black Honey, Ashnikko, and many more.

He’s also ventured into film and television, contributing to soundtrack projects like J’ai toujours rêvé d’être un gangster (Sundance 2008) and State of Play. His emo‑versatile production style recently earned him a nomination for MPG International Producer of the Year

Recently Tikovoï has produced and written songs for The Libertines’ All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade, their first UK #1 album, Purple Disco Machine who scored #1 of the Airplay charts in Europe, Black Honey with two #1 album of the independent official U.K charts, Becky HillBlondie and Ghost who charted at #1 in the Billboard 200 charts and went top 10 in 15 countries.
